DIRECT AIR CAPTURE

What is Direct Air Capture? How does DAC contribute to net-zero carbon emission industries?

Direct Air Capture (DAC) system is one of the most advanced technologies in the field of environment protection and sustainable device. This innovation solution enables the removal of CO₂ – the main cause of the greenhouse effect – directly from ambient air.

How it work

The DAC system operates based on the principle of absorbing and separating CO₂ using special materials known as sorbents or absorbent membranes.

  1. Ambient air is drawn into the system through high-capacity fans.
  2. CO₂ molecules in the air are captured when they come into contact with the absorbent material.
  3. Once the material is heated or subjected to pressure changes, the CO₂ is released in a pure form, ready to be reused or safely stored underground.

Estimated: a 15-square-meter DAC system operating for one year is equivalent to 5,000 square meters of mixed forest.

Nano Lam Son’s Solution

With a vision of applying advanced technologies for sustainable development, Nano Lam Son aims to build a comprehensive green technology ecosystem — where devices not only save energy but also actively purify the air and recycle carbon resources.

DAC’s Application

  • Energy sector: Production of clean synthetic fuels (e-fuels).
  • Construction: Utilizing CO₂ in the production of green cement and concrete.
  • Agriculture: Supplying CO₂ for greenhouses to boost crop yields.
  • Environmental management: Integrating DAC with carbon storage (CCS) to achieve Net Zero targets.
