Direct Air Capture (DAC) system is one of the most advanced technologies in the field of environment protection and sustainable device. This innovation solution enables the removal of CO₂ – the main cause of the greenhouse effect – directly from ambient air.
How it work
The DAC system operates based on the principle of absorbing and separating CO₂ using special materials known as sorbents or absorbent membranes.
- Ambient air is drawn into the system through high-capacity fans.
- CO₂ molecules in the air are captured when they come into contact with the absorbent material.
- Once the material is heated or subjected to pressure changes, the CO₂ is released in a pure form, ready to be reused or safely stored underground.
Estimated: a 15-square-meter DAC system operating for one year is equivalent to 5,000 square meters of mixed forest.
