ON GOING RESEARCH PROJECT 

Alongside our smart glass product using light scattering, Nano Lam Son Co. Ltd. has recently developed a new-generation smart glass made of ultra-thin nanowires under 10 nm in diameter, working on light absorption principles – similar to Boeing 787 Dreamliner windows.

Nano Lam Son smart glass can switch between transparent and opaque states within 3 minutes. 

• Switching voltage: 4V
• Opacity: 90 – 100 % for the visible light spectrum, with a minimum at 490 nm (the wavelength most sensitive to the human eye).

In the near future, Nano Lam Son will further develop this type of glass in larger sizes for commercialization in the Vietnamese market.
